Welcome to New Zealand Honey Producers Co-operative Limited.
We operate in one of the world’s most perfect honey producing environments, and are proud to supply some of the worlds best honey, gathered right here in New Zealand.
Bee Keepers throughout New Zealand supply honey to the factory operating from Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, with distribution facilities operating from Timaru.
The co-operative arose out of the demise of the New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority (a national single desk selling organization) and the Company was formed in 1981. Today it is comprised of 80 beekeeper shareholders domiciled throughout the country.
With its leading brand “Hollands Honey” the Co-operative is one of the largest honey companies in New Zealand, annually processing over 1,000 metric tons. Hollands Premium White Clover Honey packaged in 500g pottles is the number one selling product nation wide.
Other well known brand names marketed by the Co-operative, both in New Zealand and to export markets around the world, include; 3 Bees, Hororata and SweetMeadow.
